Our Purpose

The world’s definition of success is focused on “likes’ on social media, financial security, and position or title.  This definition is broken and shallow; the proof is the divisiveness and division in society every day.  The 1833 Leadership Academy will work to redefine success into something more authentic, redemptive, and intentional.  The new definition of success will focus on genuine relationships and servant leadership to mold people to become leaders and people of influence in their spheres of life living intentionally to make a difference in the world.  Based on this fact, every single person has the potential to be a leader and make a difference. 

What Our Youth Say About Our Programs

I enjoyed it, I thought it was a great opportunity for all of us to learn a little more on leading but also mentoring. I don’t think any changes in the meeting need to be changed. I think that it’s on the responsibility of the council to spread this message to everyone because I think this would set up a cycle of producing great leaders.
I personally thought it was a great experience. I feel I learned more in depth and gained a better understanding for the word integrity. I also feel like as a leadership council we now have something we can begin to talk about with our small groups and try to mold them into leaders so that the team is full of leaders and not just a select group of guys.
1. I enjoyed it a ton! I think we are going to get to know each other better and become great leaders. Being able to hear all of my brother's perspectives is very important so we can find a way that we can work best with each other. 2. I loved the venue! It was a great place to meet.
I really liked it. I found it very interesting and really excited for the upcoming meetings. I think the 20 guys in this group really understand the main objective and why we are doing this. I think everyone is very invested by the way our conversation went yesterday. We all participated and shared very valuable information.

Join Us for Service Work in Rockaway Beach

This summer a group will travel to Rockaway Beach, Missouri to tear down this house.  The trip will be a week long and will include roundtrip transportation, lodging, all meals, and activities.

The total cost for the trip is $225. Participants can bring spending money if inclined.

We provide instruction on how to lead teams, business, families, and your life. This is done specifically through our core values and with the completion comes a Level 1 Leadership Certification.

How long? 9 weeks for 1.5 hour class once a week

We provide training on how to coach with purpose. Learn to integrate and implement our core values throughout your team to equip and create leaders on your team.
